My name is Jon Licht. I’m a composer, filmmaker, and first and foremost a movie enthusiast. I’ve been obsessed with film since I was very young, and that love eventually pushed me to start making my own.

I've been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and I've always heard the same frustration: the places where independent films live online weren’t built with creators in mind. The people actually making the work rarely saw a fair return.

So I started building Screened, a platform where filmmakers can share their work, grow an audience, and instantly share in the revenue their films generate. Not eventually. Not after some payout threshold. Directly.
